Strictly Business Computer Systems is seeking an individual with strong computer technology skills and demonstrated customer account management success to market and sell technically challenging and advanced networking solutions.
Account Representative
Responsibilities:
- Aggressively market company solutions and services by applying prescribed consultative selling strategies and techniques.
- Identify sales opportunities, prospect target accounts, and qualify potential sales for services and solutions.
- Analyze the sales environment including customer expectations, competitive environment, and customer's technical capability to align company solutions and services offerings with the customer requirements.
- Professionally prepare and deliver in-person, phone, and Webinar sales calls, presentations, and product demonstrations to customers.
- Compose and price written technical proposals and quotations that fully address customer requirements while adhering to recommended guidelines and templates.
- Work with sales and marketing team to plan, organize, and execute sales strategies and sales cycle activities.
- Keep abreast of the products, applications, technical service, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising, and promotional trends through reading of pertinent literature and consulting with marketing and technical services.
- Participate in trade shows and conventions.
- Cultivate and maintain customer and partner relationships that perpetuate and enhance product and service satisfaction.
- Demonstrate personal and professional integrity, fairness, honesty, and respect in all business dealings in achieving the company's stated objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Science, Management Information Systems, or related business field, or the equivalent in work experience.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in technical marketing, sales, and proposal development and relevant experience in new account acquisition and demand generation.
- Prefer understanding of data networking concepts, design, and technologies with experience in contributing to discussions on business objectives, challenges, and applicable technology solutions.
- Desire a familiarity with selling Cisco IP telephony and security offerings to enterprise and small business level customers (eventual Cisco Sales Executive certification expected).
Skills & Knowledge:
- Excellent oral and written technical and non-technical communication, organization, consultative, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Office products in writing proposals and technical documents and presenting technical topics to diverse audiences.
- Solid comprehension of products, tools, and techniques related to operating systems, IP telephony, data networking, computer security, and professional consulting services.
- Ability to thrive in a team environment subject to ever changing business priorities under tight deadlines.
- Talent for maintaining multiple customer relationships while understanding the business challenges of an individual customer's needs.
